part one of "the grief will last forever" follows me through my early teens as i mourn my mother's death, lose my grandmother to dementia slowly, as well as the normal confusion of young adulthood. these photos i took between the ages of 14 to 16.

during this time of my life i learned of love, class consciousness, and interests that would follow me into adulthood. ​
